The Frederick County Planning Commission on Wednesday was divided about its views on the county's proposed map for a special zoning mechanism for data centers.

After a public hearing, the planning commission debated the county's proposed critical digital infrastructure overlay zone map, which would limit data center development in the county to an area near Adamstown.
