We’re learning more information about the people charged in the death of 12-year-old girl Jacqueline Torres-Garcia, whose remains were found in New Britain.

Three people are charged in the case: the girl’s mother, the mother’s boyfriend and the girl’s aunt – Jackelyn Garcia.

Garcia is facing charges including child cruelty. It’s not clear what led to her arrest since the warrant is sealed for two weeks.

But now, we are learning more about the aunt’s previous arrest in 2023.

According to the arrest warrant, Garcia brought her then 11-month-old daughter to Connecticut Children’s after reporting an issue with her leg.
