UNION CO., Ky. (WFIE) - More arrests have been made in an investigation into fake ID trafficking.
Officials with the Union County Sheriff’s Office say they worked with Madisonville Police, where the investigation led them to a home on Monroe Street in Sturgis.
While serving a search warrant, authorities say they found items to make fake ids and debit cards.
37-year-old Mauro Cano Santiago and 24-year-old Asya Cano were charged with possessing forgery devices.
Deputies say Madisonville Police also charged Cano Santiago with Engaging in Organized Crime.
As we reported, Kimberly Brito was arrested this week in Madisonville because police say she was selling fake IDs out of Delgado’s Tax shop.
