The Detroit Lions are signing defensive back Jammie Robinson, a source confirmed to The Detroit News on Wednesday.
Robinson, who played collegiately at South Carolina (2019-20) and Florida State (2021-22), was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Robinson was with the Panthers until he was waived in December 2024 and subsequently claimed by the Arizona Cardinals. He was waived by the Cardinals in August and signed to the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad later that same month.
The Lions are dealing with a number of injuries in the secondary. Cornerback D.J. Reed (hamstring) is on injured reserve through Week 9, at minimum, and fellow cornerbacks Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and Avonte Maddox (hamstring) aren't expected to play in Monday night's ga
