Eighth-seeded Steinert defeated ninth-seeded West Windsor-Plainsboro North 3-1 in the first round of the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament in Hamilton.

Following a 1-1 tie at halftime, Steinert scored two unanswered goals in the second half to clinch the victory.

Steinert’s goals were scored by Gia Graziano, Ally Constance and Jordan Bates.

Steinert dominated the match, outshooting West Windsor-Plainsboro North 24-6.

Steinert (8-7) will visit top-seeded Allentown in the quarterfinal round on Friday with the time to be announced. West Windsor-Plainsboro North (4-8) will host Monroe on Saturday at 10:00am.
