There's an identity beginning to form, nascent as the season is for the Detroit Red Wings.

They move forward in their schedule buoyed by a three-game winning streak, all six points earned against divisional opponents. One victory was stolen by goaltending, but the other two were demonstrations of how much better the Wings are when they dictate pace.
