It’s about time that billionaire Mark Zuckerberg got his house in order. The vas t social media companies he controls – such as Facebook and Instagram – have spent years shrugging their shoulders whenever complaints were raised about the countless sickening videos uploaded to their platforms. ‌

All the while raking in billions in profits. ‌

So credit where it’s due as Instagram has finally implemented new safety measures which should limit the ability of teens to view violent videos. ‌

It’s worth bearing in mind that those under 13 shouldn’t be using social media in the first place. Far too often, videos of playground fights or other horrifying violence involving teenagers is widely shared online.
