Florida football could be thin in the secondary for its homecoming matchup on Oct. 18 against Mississippi State (4:15 p.m., SEC Network).

Starting safety Jordan Castell and starting cornerback Cormani McClain have been listed as questionable for the Florida Gators (2-4, 1-2 SEC) for their game against the Bulldogs (4-2, 0-2 SEC).

Florida already is down two key members of the secondary as cornerback Dijon Johnson (torn ACL) and defensive back Aaron Gates (shoulder) are out for the season.

Castell recorded his first interception of the season during UF's 34-17 at Texas A&M on Oct. 11, while McClain had an interception on Sept. 20. If Castell and McClain can't go, Florida would turn to senior Michael Caraway Jr. at safety and J'Vari Flowers or Teddy Foster at cornerback.
