US President Donald Trump has once again praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a "great man” who "loves Trump." Trump was, however, quick to clarify that he didn’t want anyone to “take that the wrong way” or “ruin” PM Modi’s political career.

Trump’s latest praise for Prime Minister Modi came after he claimed that the latter had assured him India would halt oil purchases from Russia , describing it as a significant boost to his efforts to isolate Moscow in the Ukraine war.
