Manchester United's pursuit of Brighton and Hove Albion's Carlos Baleba is far from done, despite how much the Reds would need to pay to sign the Cameroon international.

Baleba emerged as a late transfer target for United in the summer transfer window after they concluded the deal to bring Benjamin Sesko to Old Trafford . MEN Sport reported at the time that the Reds were willing to wait until next summer to move for the 21-year-old.

While he was thought to be keen on the move to Manchester, Brighton value Baleba at around £100m which made a move this summer impossible. Since then, Brighton owner Tony Bloom has shed further light on the situation and the Manchester Evening News has rounded up the latest surrounding a move for the midfielder.
