PERRY, Mich. (WILX) - Perry junior quarterback Tyger Whitbeck loves the opportunity to throw the football in the Ramblers’ offense.

“I love throwing the long ball. I mean, it’s one of the most fun plays in the game,” said Whitbeck.

Whitbeck was thrust into the spotlight as a sophomore, starting every game at QB in Perry’s first season in the CMAC. Perry’s football head coach, Steve Bentley, has loved watching the progression his quarterback has made each game.

“That was pretty cool to see him take that next progression from a sophomore QB that broke a lot of records for us to a junior QB now that is way more in control of the offense,” said Bentley.
