A pair of familiar foes will square off in the St. Louis High School Champions League title match 6 p.m. Saturday at the Creve Coeur Soccer Complex.

St. Louis University High and De Smet posted 2-0 semifinal wins Wednesday night at SLUH to earn spots in the championship game. The host Junior Billikens (16-2-2) defeated Ladue while De Smet (12-5-2) took care of Oakville.

SLUH beat De Smet in penalty kicks in last year's Class 4 championship game at Lindenwood University and knocked off the Spartans 1-0 in the CBC Tournament early this season.

De Smet fell 2-0 to St. Dominic in the first Champions League final last year.

Saturday's game will also serve as the squads' Metro Catholic Conference match this season. De Smet is 2-1 in MCC play this season while SLUH comes in at 0-1 in league a
