Tegan Carley said she was "always the bigger girl" growing up, and was never involved in sport.
But after giving birth to her third child, the 33-year-old Worrigee woman reached a turning point three years ago.
"I just woke up one day and just felt really unhappy, and thought 'what am I doing'," she said.
The decision to start focusing on herself and her health began with short walks, but culminated in recent weeks by winning the national Miss Fit Bikini Model quest.
Ms Carley also won Miss Mumspiration 2025 - the first time in Miss Fit Bikini Model history that one person had ever won two sashes.
And now she is looking at ways to share her journey to fitness, possibly by becoming a personal trainer.
