LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A Las Vegas Valley mom is being recognized for her efforts to protect students and improve safety at crosswalks citywide.
Krista Holloway founded Walk Safely LV. Wednesday, she was honored by the City of Las Vegas for her mission.
“And I just want to say, McKenzie Scott, I know you’re up there, and we will forever think of you,” Holloway said. “And along with Christopher and Haylee, this is for you. And thank you. And we won’t stop. We’re going to keep doing this, and we’re going to keep fighting for the safety of our kids.”
City officials recognized Holloway for her dedication, presenting her and her team with a community hero award.
