India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has dropped a cryptic one liner post on X (formerly Twitter) ahead of three match ODI series against Australia. In the post he wrote – “The only time you truly fail, is when you decide to give up.”

The post has taken internet by a storm considering Virat Kohli only posts ad on his social media handles and remains low-key otherwise. Kohli announced his retirement from the T20Is after India won the T20 World Cup in June 2024 after which this year he announced his retirement from the Test format as well in May 2025. He will now be only seen in action in the ODIs and will be playing in the Australia series starting from 19 Octobe
