MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man wanted for shooting two boys inside a car in Parkway Village on Monday night was taken into custody a day later in Mississippi, police said.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), Lorenzo Bailey was arrested for three counts of attempted first-degree murder among other charges. Authorities did not say where in Mississippi he was captured.

Police said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. Monday on East Port Cove off Chuck Avenue. A man, later identified as Bailey, walked up to a car with three people inside and opened fire, police said.
