LAWRENCE — Considering the conversation around how much longer Bill Self will serve as Kansas basketball’s head coach has become more prominent of late, a recent promotion might have caught some attention.
Self and the Jayhawks announced earlier this week that assistant coach Jeremy Case had been promoted to associate head coach. It marked another step forward in the journey Case has taken in coaching. The former KU athlete, who’s won a national championship as a player in 2008 and as an assistant coach in 2022, seems poised to one day be a head coach.
