Marathon weekend kicks off on Saturday with a 1-mile race, kids' dash, 5K and the conclusion of the second annual Kids Marathon.

More than 26,000 racers will hit the streets Oct. 18-19 during the Detroit Free Press Marathon, presented by MSU Federal Credit Union.
