OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s very warm out there to start the day with temperatures in the 60s. That’s very close to where our average highs are this time of year. We’ll take that warm start, throw in a little windy and surge the highs well into the 80s here today in mid October.
South wind gusts will spike to 30-35 mph at times today too helping us to warm. Thankfully the dew points will drop off this afternoon making it feel less humid.
Overnight tonight into Friday morning will bring the return of some rain chances with spotty showers in play. Some of those could even linger into the early afternoon Friday as we still are able to warm into the mid 70s.
We’ll have a south wind become northwest later on in the day Friday with gusts to 25 mph at worst.
