CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Brandon Johnson is expected to present a 2026 Chicago City Budget proposal to the full City Council during their morning meeting Thursday.

A budget forecast released this summer projects a $1.15 billion deficit for the city, driven in part by the end of federal pandemic aid, and uncertainty over CPS pension payments.
