ST. CHARLES CO, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The St. Charles County Planning and Zoning Commission tied in a vote of an application for a development along Highway N, south of the intersection at Perry Cate Boulevard.

The vote Wednesday night means the commission is not recommending that the St. Charles County Council approve the application when it takes it up at the November 10th meeting.

The Mensher Farms Subdivision totals some 470 lots with single-family homes, townhomes and commercial development. A project that’s been in the works for a long time.

“This actually started in 2010, and in 201,0 a rezoning that took place,” said David Volz with Volz Incorporated, who spoke on behalf of the application Wednesday. “The property is already rezoned. It’s rezoned R1B with a PUD, and the PUD allow
