Hundreds of Bluey fans have lined up overnight, some for 18 hours, to get their paws on new Christmas collectable coins.

The coveted silver coin sold out in minutes when the Perth Mint opened its doors to a stampede this morning.

"People want them - demand is significantly outstripping supply," chief executive Paul Graham said.

The coin was released by the Royal Australian Mint but Perth Mint is one of the authorised distributors.

Georgie waited 18 hours at the front of the line, dressed in Bluey gear from her dog-ears headband right down to her themed Crocs, to make sure she didn't miss out.

The Heeler family superfan Georgie said she was "excited, tired, and relieved, yeah, that I got one".
