Travelers hitting the skies with WestJet will soon have to pay more to sit back and relax on their next flight.

The Canadian airline, which flies to 20 U.S. states and Washington, D.C ., announced major cabin reconfigurations on former all-economy Boeing 737-8 MAX and 737-800 aircrafts to offer customers a "refreshed range of seating options."

Among those options will be seats that don't recline.

WestJet said the "fixed recline" design "helps preserve personal space" for passengers in standard seats, which are designated from rows 10 to 31, with three varying seat pitches. It also allows the airlines to squeeze in one more row of seats to each aircraft, “reducing the cost per seat and helping to provide Canadians with affordable fares and optionality.”
