Jets HC Aaron Glenn has often spoken about coping with his teams' winless starts to seasons -- past and present -- either as a player, an assistant coach and now the boss.

As a player for the Green & White in 1996, Glenn endured an 0-8 start to a 1-15 season. As an assistant to Dan Campbell in his first season in Detroit, the Lions started 0-10-1. A couple of other accomplished coaches also dealt with losses early in their tenures as they built foundations -- Kyle Shanahan in 2017 with San Francisco, 0-9; and Zac Taylor with Cincinnati in 2010, 0-11.

Now in his first season as the Jets' top man, the team's 0-6 start is far from optimal, yet Glenn is steadfast in his belief that better days are ahead.
