The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says two men were taken into custody following a high-speed chase through Oklahoma City overnight.
Deputies attempted to pull over the vehicle on Northeast 23rd Street, near North Hiwassee Road, around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Officials say the suspects fled the scene and into Oklahoma City, where speeds reached over 100 mph across northeast Oklahoma City.
Eventually, the suspects ended up at I-40 and Pennsylvania Avenue, where they jumped from the vehicle. One suspect reportedly jumped over the bridge and was seriously injured. The second was taken into custody.
The vehicle rolled away and down the embankment, coming to rest in the Oklahoma River, where it became fully submerged.
