Police destroy seized narcotics as per NDPS Rules, 2022 in Pulwama

Continuing its resolute drive against drug menace, Police in Pulwama destroyed seized narcotic substances at the designated site of Kashmir Health Care, Lassipora (SIDCO), strictly in accordance with the NDPS (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022.

The destruction, carried out under the supervision of the Drug Disposal Committee, was conducted transparently in presence of officers from ANTF Kashmir, CID, Pollution Control Board, and other members of the committee.

Seized contraband destroyed included 70 grams of Brown Sugar, 4 kg of Cannabis Powder, 1.5 kg of Cannabis Leaves, 244.04 grams of Heroin, 140 grams of Charas, 56.879 kg of Poppy Straw, 930 ml of Codeine, and 2 bottles of Liquor (750 ml each).
