Nearly a year after the crime, a Sioux Falls man admits he killed his wife. In a plea deal, Jimmie Ledbetter pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Angie Scholl.

An investigation revealed that 19-year-old Brookings man Bailey D. Melchor allegedly abused his 3-month-old daughter by throwing, striking, squeezing and choking the infant over a period of time.

Midco has announced it is extending its partnership with the City of Sioux Falls for the Midco Aquatic Center, distributing $3.5 million over the next 10 years.
