Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch is missing NFL Week 7 after his suspension for attacking Kansas City Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster during postgame handshakes between the teams in Week 6.

As far as Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin is concerned, Branch did the right thing.

"First of all, JuJu needed his ass whooped," Franklin said on the Club 520 podcast. "Him, specifically, really needs his ass whooped."

This comes after Franklin's comments last season about wanting to play the Giants , only to get eliminated from the postseason by them. The Colts play the Chiefs and Smith-Schuster on Nov. 23.

According to Franklin, Smith-Schuster has a reputation: "He's needed his ass whooped for a minute. Brian Branch is doing the work of the Lord. He's an asshole,
