A police news release said officers went to check on the well-being of a woman in a car. They spoke with her and determined she was impaired. Article content

“When asked to step out of the car, she instead started the engine, put it in reverse gear and rammed a cruiser twice, narrowly missing the two officers on scene,” the release said. “She then fled the scene and almost hit another cruiser in the process.”
