Treatment of FAI staff in recent weeks ‘falls far short of acceptable standards’ – Siptu withdraws from process over job cuts

Siptu has withdrawn from negotiations with the FAI

FAI staff who are represented by the Siptu trade union say they have withdrawn cooperation with the FAI’s redundancy process due to what the union say is “a failure to respect their right to trade union representation”.

Employees at the FAI are still awaiting details from their employers over the FAI’s “transformation programme” which will lead to a reduction in the head count at the association's HQ in Abbotstown.
