In an interesting development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a fresh petition before the CBI Special Court in Hyderabad, accusing YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of violating court-imposed conditions during his ongoing foreign tour.

The CBI has requested the court to revoke Jagan’s travel permission, granted earlier this month for his Europe visit, citing non-compliance with mandatory reporting norms.

As per the bail conditions, Jagan was required to submit his personal phone number, email ID, and complete travel itinerary before departure.

However, the CBI alleged that Jagan had submitted an alternate number instead of his personal contact, terming it a breach of conditions.
