CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns ’ offense has reached historically low levels, scoring just 13.7 points per game behind rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel. On the Orange and Brown Talk podcast , Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot didn’t mince words about the severity of the situation and the need for dramatic action.

“I would actually be trying to trade for a veteran quarterback that could come in here and get them through the rest of this season. I don’t know who the heck that would be at this point. I really don’t,” Cabot stated emphatically. “But I would be trying to find somebody because I just crunched some numbers. I went back and I watched a fair amount of the Pittsburgh Steelers game and Dillon Gabriel was off on a lot of his throws.”
