BOLIVAR, Mo. (KY3) - Missouri Attorney Catherine Hannaway filed a lawsuit against a Bolivar construction company owner, claiming he deceived customers and took deposits without completing contracted work.

The lawsuit accuses Kenneth Nutter, owner of Premier Dirt Works and Concrete, of making false promises to customers and collecting money without delivering services. State officials allege Nutter engaged in deceptive business practices that violated Missouri consumer protection laws.

The attorney general’s office cited a specific example involving a customer who paid more than $24,000 in 2023 for a new shop building. According to the lawsuit, the company failed to complete the work and refused to provide a refund.
