Attorney General James Uthmeier wants the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on California giving driver’s licenses to people who are in the United States illegally.
“We filed a lawsuit against California on behalf of Florida to hold them accountable for the carnage that their sanctuary illegal immigration policies have caused to states like Florida across the country,” Uthmeier told Sean Hannity .
This is the state’s latest move in the wake of Harjinder Singh being accused of making an illegal U-turn in August that led to triple homicide charges, which led to Lt. Gov. Jay Collins taking a charter flight to California to extradite the former long-distance truck driver.
