The Toronto Blue Jays are only down 2-1 in the series after they got on the board in the ALCS with a 13-4 win at T-Mobile Park on Wednesday. It seemed easy to believe in the squad once again, but ease was nearly gone when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 0-for-7 in a pair of losses to open the series at home. But in Game 3, Vladdy verified his status as a postseason monster.

He nearly made history if it wasn’t for his bewildering choice. The Canadian-Dominican first baseman was merely a triple away from hitting for the cycle when he sent a liner into the right-center gap late in the game. However, just as he rounded first, an awkward step made him hesitate even though his eyes lit up for a brief minute.
