SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — The South Fulton City Council this week approved the second phase of sidewalks and improvement project on Old National Highway, it said in a release.

The $4.1 million project will be 80% funded by federal money via the Georgia Department of Transportation, a release said, and the other 20%, or about $805,000, will be contributed by the city.

The project "will significantly enhance connectivity and quality of life for residents across the area," the release said.

"This transformative effort reflects a multi-agency collaboration and a shared investment in the future of our communities," it added.
