A former Aviva executive has been killed in a horrific crash after his Aston Martin careered off the carriageway and burst into flames following a collision with a tree.

The family of David Barral have offered a heartfelt tribute to the 63-year-old business leader after his death near Wetherby in West Yorkshire, describing him as a "most wonderful man".
