A Coastal Flood Advisory continues until 8 PM Friday from the Oregon Inlet southward to Eastern Carteret County. Water levels will run 1-2 feet above normal at times.

Cooler, fall-like air will continue to be the theme as we end the week out, with temperatures in the 60s, feeling like late fall for ENC. Plenty of sunshine and breezy conditions will hold for the region, as the northeasterly breeze continues. We will have a couple of nights in the lower 40s, feeling nice and crisp in the early morning hours.

Heading into the weekend, we will be warmer. Temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 70s, returning to the afternoon, with a few passing clouds. A front will be bringing a chance of showers late Sunday and into Monday. Though it will not be a lot of rain, but will be enough to wet the
