No. 2 Miami (5-0) vs. Louisville (4-1), Friday, 7 p.m., ESPN

Latest line: Miami is favored by 13 1/2 points

Adam Lichtenstein, Miami Hurricanes Writer: Miami 28, Louisville 13

The Hurricanes come rolling into this home game against the Cardinals with five straight wins to open the year. When Miami and Louisville have faced off the last two years, the games have been tight, high-scoring affairs. But this year, the teams come in with strong defenses. The Hurricanes’ defense is better, though, and the Cardinals’ offensive line has struggled. That is a recipe for UM’s defense to have a strong game and limit what Louisville can accomplish on offense. The Hurricanes’ offense may not put up 50 points, but it will do more than enough to get the job done.
