The Surrey café owned by Bollywood star Kapil Sharma was sprayed with gunfire for the third time in just over three months.

Kap’s Cafe in the 8400-block 120 Street in Newton was shot at just before 3:45 a.m., said Surrey police.

Officers found several bullet holes in the building’s facade. Like the previous two times, staff was on the premises at the time of the shooting but, luckily, no one was injured.

“It is the third regrettable incident at this location,” said Surrey Police Service spokesman Ian MacDonald.

“As we have done in incidents in the past, we are going to see if there’s a nexus to extortion. It has the earmarks of that and, given these are repeated attacks on a business, highly likely.”
