Spirit is cutting flights and extending suspended routes at the New Orleans airport to U.S. and international destinations as the budget airline faces financial woes .
The airline is cutting two direct flights from Louis Armstrong International Airport in Kenner with service to Houston and Las Vegas.
The last flights for each route will fly out Dec. 3, according to Aeroroutes .
Additionally, the airline will suspend a flight from MSY to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago from Dec. 4 to Jan. 7.
Spirit has also extended the suspension of a flight from New Orleans to Raleigh-Durham until March 3, 2026. The cut begins Oct. 31. Additionally, a flight to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, will be suspended from Nov. 6 to Jan. 7, according to Aeroroutes.
United has added flights to Houston and
