SRINAGAR : The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday announced the postponement of the provincial holiday on account of Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib, shifting the observance from October 18 to October 20. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to an official order issued by the Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (GAD), the holiday will now be observed on Monday, October 20, instead of Saturday, October 18.

“It is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday (Kashmir Province only) on account of ‘Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib’ shall now be observed on 20.10.2025 (Monday) instead of 18.10.2025 (Saturday),” the order reads.
