Neon on Thursday unveiled the official trailer for writer-director Kleber Mendonça Filho ‘s buzzy period political thriller The Secret Agent , which won the Best Director prize for Filho, Best Actor for star Wagner Moura and the FIPRESCI prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The distributor behind last year’s Oscar Best Picture winner Anora acquired Secret Agent on the ground in Cannes and is ramping up for a November 26 release in New York followed by December 5 in Los Angeles. Mubi has rights in the UK, Ireland, India, and Latin America excluding Brazil.
