US President Donald Trump held a lengthy phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, just a day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to visit the White House to seek additional support in Ukraine’s war against Russia.
Trump described the discussion as “ongoing, a lengthy one,” on his Truth Social platform, adding that he and Putin would report on its contents once concluded. The Kremlin also confirmed the call, according to Russia’s state RIA news agency.
