The Maroons have dropped four straight games on home ice going into the 7 p.m. faceoff against the winless Sarnia Legionnaires at Chatham Memorial Arena. Article content Article content

“The only way out of this little funk is just put our heads down, no excuses and just get to work,” coach and general manager Brennan Feasey said.

That’s what they did Wednesday to stop a three-game skid. Rookie Grant Symons scored the winning goal with 2:02 left in the third period to beat the London Nationals 3-2 in front of 263 fans at the Western Fair Sports Centre.
