WASHINGTON —
Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-KY, took a tumble Thursday in a Capitol hallway.
Video of the incident started circulating just ahead of the Senate taking a series of votes related to the government shutdown, which is now on day 16.
The video shows the 83-year-old walking as he's being asked a question by the Sunrise Movement, a political activist group, about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He then grabs the arm of who appears to be an aide or security, and falls to the ground.
He's quickly helped back up, waves and walks away with help.
WLKY reached out to his office for comment, and they said "He's all good."
He then went on to vote and is expected to vote later in the day, as well.
