TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A temporary road closure of South Calhoun, South Gadsden and East Jefferson streets is expected to take effect next week, according to Leon County officials.

Starting Monday through Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly, the closure will be in effect “for the removal of fencing and walls adjacent to Washington Square as part of the Washington Square Right-of-Way Restoration,” the Leon County Government wrote in a press release Thursday.

The closure is set to impact the following streets:

South Calhoun Street from East College Avenue to East Jefferson Street

South Gadsden Street from East Jefferson Street to East College Avenue

East Jefferson Street from South Calhoun Street to South Gadsden Street
