(NewsNation) — Prosecutors said the DNA obtained from a discarded straw has led to the indictment of a Long Island man accused of sexually assaulting and killing a New York teenager four decades ago.
Richard Bilodeau, 63, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to two counts of murder in the death of a high school junior, Theresa Fusco.
Fusco, who was 16 years old, disappeared after leaving her part-time job at a Long Island roller-skating rink in November 1984. Her nude body was found weeks after the assault, buried under leaves in a wooded area near the rink.
