KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Buc-ee’s will officially break ground today on a new location in western Wyandotte County at The Legends.

The gas station chain, known for its beef jerky and cult following, will be located at the corner of 110th and Village West Parkway, right off Interstate 70 and across the street from Kansas Speedway.

Construction is set to take two years, though crews hope to finish sooner.

Chelsee Chism, the Unified Government’s director of economic development, said Buc-ee’s will create hundreds of jobs and add to the area’s growth.
