Nick Offerman, who played Ron Swanson on "Parks and Rec," decided to prank his cast member, Jim O'Heir, by pretending to be a flight attendant.

It's a "Parks & Recreation" prank so good, you'd think it was part of the script.

Actor Jim O'Heir shared a video on Instagram earlier this week of his "Parks and Rec" co-star Nick Offerman pranking him. The pair were coincidentally on the same flight to Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana, where the Amy Poehler-led show took place.

O'Heir's character, Jerry Gergich, was often the butt of the joke on the program, which ran from 2009 to 2015. Before their flight landed in Indianapolis, Offerman started making the safety announcements over the intercom, adding his own flair as his character from the show, the outdoorsy and cantankerous Ron Swanson.

"And as I always say, don't half ass your safety, only whole ass," Offerman said over the speaker, delighting travelers with the same dry wit that helped earn the show a loyal band of followers, even after its last episode aired.

Offerman then teased O'Heir's character in his closing words, telling passengers: "If you're traveling out to areas like Muncie and your last name is Gergich, first name Jerry, Larry, Barry or Gary, please behave yourself and travel safely." O'Heir's character famously had a timeshare in Muncie.

The video, shared to O'Heir's Instagram, sees Offerman heading back to his seat and before stopping by his co-star and offering a casual: "Oh hello there." Both actors then shared a hearty laugh.

Later, O'Heir posted a selfie of the two of them at the Indianapolis International Airport, clarifying that he had no idea they were on the same flight until he heard Offerman's voice over the intercom.
